The KFA1403 is intended for bulk grinding in commercial roasting facilities and is capable of grinding up to 100 pounds of coffee per day. Featuring large, 140mm steel burrs running at 1700 RPM, the KFA1403 can grind up to 8 pounds of coffee at 800 microns with incredible consistency. The KFA1403 Industrial does not include a spring-loaded bag clamp/knocker. Instead, a mechanical paddle acts as an on/off switch and clamp all in one and does not allow the user to knock the chute of excess grounds after a cycle. This grinder also includes a hopper shutoff valve to open or close the flow of beans into the burr chamber. Any 1403 model may also be outfitted with one of three burr sets: standard, Turkish or coarse, and a stepless grind adjustment wheel with clear indicators makes finding the right grind size simple.
