La Marzocco Linea PB AV Auto Volumetric Espresso Machine

The Linea PB espresso machine represents the first full update to the technical and stylistic workings of the Linea in the nearly 25 years it has been in production. The Linea PB features the iconic La Marzocco polished stainless steel body, updated with simplified lines and a lower profile. To complement its stylistic updates, the Linea PB features improved component longevity and new electronics that give the barista control over functions directly from the machine interface – including boiler temperatures, brewing volume, hot water tap dose, and an auto-backflush feature.

As an auto-volumetric machine, the Linea PB is capable of being programmed to produce precise shot volumes. However, La Marzocco has taken this feature a step further with the integration of their Auto-Brew Ratio function. This optional add-on integrates precision scales directly into the machine’s drip tray to improve espresso consistency by stopping the extraction based on mass. The Linea PB then uses an algorithm called Drip Prediction to improve shot accuracy and make dialing your shots in easier than ever. The Linea PB espresso machine is a true workhorse that will meet the demands of any high-volume, commercial cafe setting.

All of the reliable features that has made La Marzocco a staple in the coffee industry are present in the Linea PB, and then some. Temperature display, shot timers, flow pulse counter, and intuitive programming simplifies the adjustment of the Linea PB’s machine parameters. The Linea PB espresso machine can also be programmed to enter a stand-by, eco mode when not in use, reducing boiler temperatures to lower set-points and improving energy efficiency. Lastly, an automatic back-flush takes place each time a portafilter is removed, keep your machine working efficiently in the highest volume commercial settings.
