The Rhino Needle Tamper features a 58mm espresso tamper base with a built-in needle distributor (WDT tool) within the handle. The durable, stainless steel base is professionally weighted and suits industry-standard 58mm portafilters. Once you've added your ground coffee to your portafilter basket, unscrew the top of the tamper handle to access the built-in needle distributor. Using the WDT method helps to promote even extraction by getting rid of clumps in your espresso as well as creating a level bed of coffee that is ready to tamp.
